Review: Element Day Spa
Element is an Aveda salon. I have been going to Element for about two years now. I go for highlights, cut, color. I was seeing Kristie for a long time and when she moved, I started seeing Lisa. I have to say I love Lisa! She is super sweet and really takes her time when she does my foils. She is meticulous and very thorough.
Also, Amanda used to wash my hair and gave a great massage! She did it night and rough, which is how I like it. She basically beat my head up, in a good way! Now Amanda is styling and actually DOING hair, which is great for her! But I admit I miss her massages!
Unfortunately I have to knock off a star because parking is really a bitch here. It mostly residential, with a good amount of 2 hour visitor parking, but it is still disproportionate to the number of businesses in this area. I drive from Brookline and it is a bit of a hassle to park. I realize it is not Element’s fault, but I believe it is still something that effects the entire salon experience and it is an important issue to draw attention to. I have gotten tickets for parking for over 2 hours. Those of you who get your hair foiled and highlighted know how long it can take for a full color, cut, and dry treatment….so often times I am there for over 2 hours.
Also, you CANNOT tip on your credit card, so make sure you have some cash on hand.
Either way, I always leave feeling like blond bombshell princess!
